Beech timber - Features:

Appearance:
The color is light cream with darker heartwood, something between ash and maple. The fibers are short and fine textures.
Beech wood offers to interiors warmth and make them look more spacious. This is why furniture manufacturers often use beech for carrying objects furniture for small spaces.

Physical properties :
Beech wood is dense, hard and tough. Janka hardness scale is 1300.
It has no taste or odor.

   - Orient A quality – a healthy false heartwood is only accepted for maximum 30%-40% of the width. Healthy knots shall be accepted under a 10 mm diameter, and a single healthy knot shall be accepted for a 2 meter length. None of the admitted knots shall impair the durability, stability and workability of the wood.
   - Orient B quality – more healthy false heartwood is accepted than in class A. Healthy knots with a diameter of less than 20 mm shall not be considered, and two healthy nodes shall be accepted over this diameter, of which one shall be penetrating, for a 2 meter length.
